Abstract:
The aneurysmal bone cyst is a benign lesion that often originates in an eccentric position of the metaphysis of the long bones and grows from it; can blow the bone. Location at the knee is rare. We report a case of aneurysmal cyst of the knee collected at the Radiology Department of the CHU Ignace DEEN Conakry. Computed X-ray and CT guided the diagnosis by the discovery of a primary lesion of the bone, lytic, in the metaphyseal position, consisting of multiple cells separated by partitions. These cells are filled with blood and clumps of solid tissue.
