Abstract: 

Le présent article porte sur le redoublement scolaire et son impact sur le rendement scolaire. A l’issue de cette recherche, nous avons trouvé que le redoublement scolaire affecte négativement la motivation et le comportement des élèves, il inflige un sentiment d’échec, perte de confiance en soi et une dévalorisation. Il permet ensuite aux élèves qui redoublent de refaire tous les cours et d’améliorer leur rendement. Nos enquêtes l’ont confirmé car sur l’ensemble des sujets examinés, 70% ont amélioré leurs performances.
